On Saturday 14th May Janey Butler Interiors attended the Pink Ribbon Ball in aid of the charity Breast Cancer Now. The Charity, which has been successfully running the event in London for over 20 years, celebrated the 2nd ball to be held in Manchester.
Raising funds and awareness for this cause is something which is very important and personal to Janey. She was delighted to be involved in the event which helps this very worthwhile charity.
The venue for the event was the imposing Manchester Cathedral, which created an impressive backdrop to this captivating and glamorous evening. Attendees from across the North West and beyond included celebrities, the new Lord Mayor of Manchester and representatives from the business sector. Guests were treated to a performance by Brit-award winner Lemar and sat down to enjoy a gorgeous dinner prepared by Harvey Nicholls.
As well as being an evening of music and entertainment, guest speaker Charley Wood gave a very moving insight into her journey and how this disease has touched her and her family. Her incredible and brave words received a standing ovation.
The event raised an amazing £125,000. Funds which are much needed for vital breast cancer research. This sum topped last years £110,000 proving that the Manchester event is set to run and run.
