Interior design is the catalyst for creating beautiful, functional and enjoyable homes that are reflective of who you are; encompassing your style, lifestyle and personality.
With incredible technological innovations, it’s not hard to see why smart homes are a popular interior design trend for clients who’d like a luxury, efficient home that’s indicative of their lifestyle.
Becoming a key component in our client’s homes, smart home automation can be adapted and designed according to specific home requirements; fitted for purpose, efficiency and maximum use of each room.
From a state-of-the-art AV system in our award-winning Capesthorne Hall Show Home, to a concealed 4K television at Lake View House and automated Sky-Frame global windows for indoor/outdoor living at Edge Cottage, discover some of my favourite smart home projects, designed in collaboration with Llama Architects.
The space features a state of the art AV system, which has won globally at the industry leading CEDIA awards as well as two other international design and architecture awards, including the 'Best UK Home Cinema' at the International Design & Architecture Awards 2016-17 and the ‘Best Office Interior' in North West England at the Property Awards 2018-19. This showroom gives our clients a taste of what is possible on their own project.
The balance of design and technology is never more present than at Lakeview House, our latest project with Llama Architects. A large 4K television is concealed perfectly by custom artwork; seamlessly dividing at the touch of a button to reveal the hidden technology behind. The project won Best Integrated Home at the CEDIA awards 2019.
Such was the innovation in Home Automation at our Edge Cottage project in Alderley Edge, that it was voted Best Integrated Smart Home in the World at the CEDIA awards 2019. The home features Crestron & Lutron Home Automation systems throughout, and includes fully automated Sky-Frame window systems, all controlled at the touch of a button.
